Prague got on tuesday big dancehall lesson by Major Lazer
Major Lazer‚s spaceship landed yesterday in Lucerna Music Bar. They brought with them millions of sound watts, sun, and crazy energy. The show had just started, but we were already in another dimension. This 3-DJ Sound System crew mashed up the place playing all their big tunes from the New album Free the universe, but also from the former ones. They did also remind us that they were a Sound System, Out of Jamaica, so it was important to them, as well as promoting their album, to promote the music from the caribbean, specially Reggae-Dancehall. Everything was PERFECT. The crazy lights, crazy dancers, crazy elements on stage, crazy temperature, crazy music, crazy public, crazy DJs made us Jump, sing, scream, jump again, scream again, dance, sing, scream, jump… again and again, with (I don’t know how) a crazy energy . Yes, CRAZY is definitely the perfect word to describe this party. You can just try to mentally mix together a FULL packed Sound System party, with a FULL packed electro-dub-dubstep party, you’ll have a small idea of what happened last night. Even the Harlem Shake was the craziest we could have ever participate to.
I guess we can thank Diplo and friends AND the public as well. The Future Dancehall brought together Hip hop lovers, Dancehall Lovers, Dubstep and Electro lovers, and I guess it was made for that. Anyway, This intergalactic journey was absolutely amazing, Thank you Major Lazer, Thank you Prague !
