Jagwa Music from Tanzania this monday in Prague!

Jagwa Music from the United Republic of Tanzania joins African rural robust rhythms, with street subculture. Links traditional drums with cheap keyboard from the supermarket, which are reminiscent of children’s toys, but the result, labeled as afro punk and trance  rap has a dimension of a natural disasters.“describes the press release, the unique phenomenon that appears on July 1st at palace Akropolis in Žižkov and it will be the final act of  the Respect festival. Jagwa music performed at last years Respect fest on Štvanice island and thanks to the energy that radiated from them, it had a huge success. The debut album was released this year by the same publisher who discovered the Congolese bands Konono No 1 or Staff Benda Bilili, also known from previous years at Respect, for the Western audience!
