Free your mind with SummerJam 2013!

The winter is over, spring came by and said bye and the sun brought us already the atmosphere of summer and festivals. Finally. As usual, one of the first festivals for Jahmusic.net will be German Summer Jam. The temptations are many, not just the line up itself but also the nature around and atmosphere created by the visitors from the whole Europe. The biggest German reggae event will be hosted next to Fühlinger lake near Cologne. As it is the 28th  year, the organization and background is good elaborated. You can catch a shuttle bus going to the venue from train/bus station, but you have to be careful. Make sure you get out of the bus on the right stop. You can build your tent anywhere around the lake, but if you miss the right stop, you can also walk few kilometers before you get to the entrance of the festival. Trust me, it´s not so much fun, lol.

The scene around the lake has except nice nature and chill out places also an adrenaline park, sand beach, watched camping and camping for families with kids and next to the festival entrance a tent with sound system for traditional warm up party.

The areal itself offers many occasions to eat, refresh or buy some souvenirs. As usual you will have choice between two stages and on Friday and Saturday night also full Dancheall Arena (hopefully closer to the areal than last year). And of course, the biggest temptation is the line up. This year the motto says „Free your mind“. Will be easy. The highlights of Summer Jam 2013 will be for sure under many Matisyahu, Major Lazer, Morgan Heritage or local Gentleman and Patrice (hopefully also with the new album The Rising of the Son), which will be closing the whole festival. We will make sure to also see Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, great Tarrus Riley and Black Soil Band (after hundred times, still great), but also Busy, which recently fired his long time manager (let see if the change did help him), Romain Virgo, Turbulence, Junior Kelly, Chronixx, Popcaan or Protoje and Fat Freddy´s Drop.
